Appending Link from Web clipper

Saving text from a webpage
What feature did you use:
Safari plug in
What happened:
Did not append link
What did you expect to happen:
Append link

When using the safari extension to save selected text from an article it is not linking back to the article in the note. I have that option turned on, I believe. See screenshots

For what its worth it does append link when no text is highlighted and it saves the whole article
