What were you doing:
Press ⌘ + ⇧ + B to show backlinks.
Drag the panel so it stays on top.
Select a new note in the list to the left.
Select a new note in the list again and again and again.
What feature did you use:
Backlinks
What happened:
For each new note I select to look at, the backlinks panel moves down ~100 pixel.
So when you have looked any many notes the backlinks panel has moved a lot downwards.
What did you expect to happen:
I expect that the backlinks panel that I have dragged will stay in the same position.

I wonder if this is somehow specific to a macOS release as I can’t simulate the above on Ventura.
Which macOS are you running?
I run macOS: 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) Nothing special. Latest update. No beta.
I have now tried to reproduce this bug.It’s only under specific circumstances it happens:
When you press: ⌘ + ⇧ + B to show backlinks you must have selected a note that has so many backlinks that the list of backlinks has a scroll bar.
In my case it’s the todo backlink note see pic:
First note selected:
Next note selected:
And next:
It only happens when the backlinks list has a scroll bar for the first note you open with ⌘ + ⇧ + B . Otherwise, it does not happen.
If I open a note with no backlinks first and then show a note with many backlinks that shows a scrollbar it works as expected.
