Currently on iOS when I tap an image, it opens in this almost-fullscreen modal, and I don’t think it’s the best view for viewing images. It wastes space and doesn’t utilize full screen for image content. I think the ”regular” full screen view that stretches to the edges of the screen would be better, like Apple Photos on iOS does.
Consider this a low priority feature request.
