Bolded or italic text cannot be unbolded/unitalicised

Testing version: 2.0 (10209)

What were you doing: I first bolded text, then later on decided I wanted it italicised. So, I selected the bold text and hit Command-B again.

What feature did you use: Bold text

What happened: Nothing. It did not become normal text again. I had to go in and remove the markdown asterisks myself. There was no list above or below.

What did you expect to happen: bold text go naormal again.

Hello, can you please make a quick video of this issue? I wonder if this happens under some specific conditions

I can’t reproduce it anymore. I’ve made a movie nevertheless, also trying to recall it with a word inside a bolded range, but IMO everything works as it should now.

I am increasingly worried there’s a jinx in my Mac.

I know what I did wrong; here’s another movie of the note where I had this problem and which I just remembered…

It’s a bit hard to exactly fit the bolded text as the selection makes the markdown expand…

Ok, I think I got it. If you select an extra space before or after the bolded sentence unbold is not working. I’ll check with the team on this one because I’m usure how to proceed.

Thanks for reporting this problem.
