That Bear allows me to change font size and line-spacing is the feature that is keeping me from succumbing to the temptations that Craft Docs offers. With aging eyes (I am in my 70s), this feature is absolutely vital for me.

Hello, we understand and it’s not our intention to remove this font size and the line spacing options in Bear.
Glad to hear that. Other personal priorities are toggle lists (ideally implemented the way they are in Craft Docs) and resizing and cropping for images. I can see a good case for attaching thumbnails of book covers when taking notes.
