Folding is too complicated

Just on folding and unfold alone it is going to be tough for users (like me) who eventually migrated to Craft (Notion, Capacities…) to go through the volume of work it will take to come back to Bear and end up with this lesser functionality.

Dear Bear,

As previously stated (above and in this thread):

I just discovered folding and was so excited. But I will never use it in its current location.

The beauty of Folding is in its ability to quickly and immediately minimize or expand text so the user doesn’t have to ‘scroll, scroll, scroll.’

If you place a feature in a location that requires multiple taps or long-presses then it isn’t any better than just scrolling.

Shortcut keys for Mac are great. In iOS though, access needs to be immediately available on-screen in order to make it usable.

If you don’t like the idea of automatically cluttering the screen, could you create an option to turn a Folding button on/off or make it visible on screen or in app?
That way people can decide based on whatever works best for them.

Thank you.
