Initial import not happening

Bear 2 9969 Initial import from Bear 1 is not happening (at all)

I have installed bear2 beta today.
For me the import of notes from Bear1 is not happening at all. I even left my Mac for several hours but no luck.
Both Bear 1 and Bear 2 are running.
I had originally copied Bear2 app file to Applications folder having renamed it to Bear 2
Moved it back to Downloads folder, renamed it back to bear.app and still no luck.

The only thing being imported appear to be the preferences.
No notes what so ever.
The Welcome to Bear2 beta note does exist and it showing up.

I don’t even think I need a DM for this.

I find 5 log files all containing basically the same unhelpful information:
