Locked Hidden Note Shows Images in Notes Column

Testing version:
Version 2.0 (9803)
What were you doing:
Selecting “Locked” style notes in the Tag sidebar
Searched for a word that was in the title of the locked note
What feature did you use:
Search
View Notes by Tag/Section “Locked”
What happened:
In the Notes column, while the text is greyed out - the images I have in my locked note are showing.
What did you expect to happen:
Since the contents of the locked note should be hidden/secret I don’t want the images to show either.

I have a locked list of things to get my wife for Christmas. My words are hidden, but the images of the products I want to get can be seen - thus ruining the secret! :slight_smile:

Hi,

Yes, this is a bug because, at the moment, encrypted notes do not come with support for attachments as in Bear 1. After B2 release we’ll check if we can find a way to encrypt/decrypt large attachments without too many compromises.

Are encrypted notes containing images possible yet?

No, they are not. It’s something we want to work on post 2.0 release.
