As the holiday season brings this bizarre year to a close, the Bear team is looking forward to some welcome downtime. We’re also leaving you testers with a new Panda build to play with over the next couple of weeks.
- For Big Sur and cutting edge M1 Mac users, we now have you covered.
- You may notice we’ve introduced a new, dedicated file format for exporting and sharing notes:
.panda
. It’s just a zipped TextBundle file, but this should make it easier to send files over Slack, email, and your other favorite internet highways. - Two features that could use a lot of testing: image resizing and file embedding. We changed how the related metadata is handled under the hood, so please be sure to bang on those a bit.
- Finally, we have a new ‘Copy Code’ menu for code blocks and a groundbreaking redesign of the Bear app icon that brings a revolutionary 50 percent more blur to its shadow.
Thanks again for your help testing Panda. We hope you all have a happy, safe holiday, and we’ll see you in 2021.
