What’s the best way to add an existing markdown document containing alt text that previews the image rather than displaying alt text?

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the current md importer we want to work on at some point. The best advice I can get, if possible, it to convert your md files with attachments into textbundle/textpack if possible.

Using Draft.app’ Copy as RTF or Copy as HTML.

Pasting from html leaves a blank line between paragraphs

Pasting from Rich Text seems OK.
