Plain formatted text

Text that is not bulleted, etc, has the first line indented. That should be a user option of some sort

That sounds like a bug… plain body text isn’t indented. It would be good to submit a bug report with screenshot. I was unable to duplicate it, but still could be an issue. :+1:

Thanks. I’ll send in the bug report.

I discovered the problem. Please see the attached video. The first line indent arises when the text is indented, which I needed to do here as a quotation. If I outdent to the margin, the first line indent goes away. If I indent the text again, the first line indent reappears.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

it’s quite hard to understand what’s happening in the video but I think the problem is related to code blocks and how can be triggered in markdown. Because of common mark specifications, an indented paragraph (without quotes, lists, headers, and other markers) turn into a code block.

If this is not concerning the issue you want to report, please re-send the video with a higher resolution.

Regards.
