It does seem that it is close. I would be able to easily commit 100% but just need note sharing. At least at a basic level where you can share a note (even like Apple Notes works).
In the Reddit forum I asked about this and the Bear Dev stated they are planning on this after the v2.0 is released.
They said wanted to do it with v1.0 but the database they were using made it prohibitive and that what they are using now would make it much easier to implement.
Using Craft for the moment just to be able to share notes.
