Testing version: Bear Beta Version 2.0 (9652)
What were you doing:
Shortcut for navigation in previous viewed notes
What feature did you use:
It used to be this:
- ⌥⌘← Navigate back in visualized notes history
- ⌥⌘→ Navigate forward in visualized notes history
Now this shortcut has been reassigned to Edit - Shift Left and Right!
What did you expect to happen:
⌥⌘← Should navigate back in visualized notes history
⌥⌘→ Should navigate forward in visualized notes history
The new shortcut is
The ⌘+⮐ doesn’t seem to work either.
BTW, did you make the shortcut list yourself?
Oh, Thank you very much Eleanor, I missed that one.
No, got the shortcut list from screenshot in the CheatSheet app:
In notes list:
@trix180 @Claire_Bear @Eleanor
BTW. I actually prefer the reassigned shortcut for
it’s easier on the hands and can also be done with right hand only
So not a bug – just another improvement
This is also the standard hotkey for going back/forward in many macOS apps (Safari for example), we’re trying to be as standard as possible and have expected shortcuts
