Adding a footnote in a table mangles the table (9695)

Should be easy to fix. The problem is that the footnote symbol is added before the start of the table instead of at cursor position. When I manually cut-and-pasted the symbol to where it belonged, it was parsed correctly.

Thanks for reporting this.

We are aware of the problems with footnotes and tables and we’ll work on them. Here, unfortunately, the problem is not as easy as it seems because the footnote button should produce a result in both the table cell (text field) and the note (Text View) when usually everything happens inside the note.
