Bear crashes on scrolling through Evernote import

Testing version: 2.0.2 (11749)

What were you doing: On the Mac app, if I scroll down through my Notes list, it crashes within seconds. Same with the #evernote tag. Not sure what to do.

Actually I notice that scrolling even through individual notes imported from Evernote, especially web pages, can be very slow.

What feature did you use: I imported some 6000 notes (4.2 gb) from Evernote. The first time it crashed on import, but when I retried it worked. Now however after the import, this scrolling issue occurs.

What happened: Here’s the first little bit of the crash report (forum won’t allow me to post the whole thing because it’s too long).

And now sync doesn’t work either. Even after deleting the app, unchecking sync, and rechecking it, it doesn’t work. It says it’s synced but the latest notes from my phone are not on the Mac app.

Is this bug going to be addressed?

Are you still experiencing this issue with version 2.0.7?

So… it looks like that particular issue is cured. However, the notes have a big problem: images in all the imported Evernote notes don’t appear – they show us as little files with .jpg but they don’t show up in the notes and if I double-click them I still can’t see them.

Did you import at 6000 at once? Perhaps if you re-import them in smaller chunks, say a 100 at a time, the problem may not persist.

Do you have re-imported your notes in 2.0.7 or it’s still the import you did with version 2.0.2?

Still the 2.0.2 import. If I wanted to re-import, I’m not even sure how I would do that, since if I delete the notes on my desktop app, they reappear on my mobile app.

But my mobile app somehow doesn’t have the #evernote tag – so I can’t select them all there and delete them. And if I delete my mobile app and reinstall it still has the same notes.
