As shown in the picture, after upgrading to Bear 2, there is an extra blank line between every *line and the line below it, which was not present before.

this is part of the migration to Markdown, lists now require an empty line to break the list and the v1 lists were updated according.

That’s up to you, are those lines part of the list item, or are those unrelated to the previous line? If you want them to be part of the list item you can delete the empty line 
But due to my long-standing habit, thousands of my notes are in this format, so manual deletion seems unlikely.
