I’m a long time Evernote user working on transitioning over to Bear. While there are plenty of reasons to dislike Evernote, one feature I apparently took for granted was how nice it was that web links and wiki links were different colors. It’s really helpful to be able to quickly tell if a link is a wiki or web simply by the color. Thanks for considering this feature request.
There’s a pencil icon at the end of the link which indicates if its markdown link as oppossed to a wikilink.
Yeah, that’s definitely better than nothing, but the different colors would be even better.
AFAIR the reason they were against different colours was largely because of themes. You have to choose two colours for each theme, and then the users has to learn which colour represents which for each theme as well. Which is not very useful.
definitely makes sense, maybe when they release the custom theme editor this will be something individuals can implement themselves.
