Panda release notes 1.0(1648) - iOS UI improvement and bug fixes

Alright all you adventurous mammals, we have some new tweaks for you to munch on. Your feedback has been excellent so far, and this release incorporates myriad new and improved features, which you can review below.

What’s new

  • Quick Look for folded attachments:
    use Quick Look on a visible attachment, then swipe to view all other attachments in a note, including folded attachments!
  • Disabled buttons in the iOS keyboard are now more obvious
  • The cut action now properly cuts on iOS
  • Footnote scrolling now properly scrolls
  • Single-digit footnotes can be renamed once again
  • Undo resizing a sketch. Bonus: try a two-finger tap!
  • Headers, lists, and blockquotes now have the correct autocapitalization on iOS
  • Disabled auto-capitalization, smart replacements, autocorrect, and spell checker inside code blocks
  • fixed a crash when inserting a new table
  • fixed a Markdown parsing crash
  • Duplicating a document on macOS shouldn’t crash the app anymore

New keyboard icons

We heard your feedback. The Highlighter and Fold icons have been radically redesigned with cutting edge lines and pretty colors.

New resize icons

New icons to resize images and sketches should be clearer, easier, and resize-ier to use.

How to Update Panda

  • iOS: Open the TestFlight app and tap Update. Optionally, enable automatic updates and email or push notifications
  • Mac: Panda checks automatically on launch. You can manually check under Panda > Check for Updates
